New member-Hello Folks, I’m new to the group and recently purchased a 1995 SHO AT. This isn’t my first SHO. I hade a Forest Green ‘92 ST back in the day when they were in their popular. This White on gray is in decent condition, it’s a loaded version with just 72k original miles. Needs brakes and tires all around and new cat back exhaust, speakers, and a good detailing, then possibly a tuneup and hopefully good to go after that. First challenges is the rear e-brake system is in pretty bad condition. Not sure I can revive it or not. Is there an alternative option to get the hydraulic E-brake operational without the aluminum billet block in play? Also would like to replace bushings in the rear control arms if there’s a source for them.
I’m not familiar with this site yet. Are past topics searchable? That might save me from asking questions that have already been answered.
Thanks,
Brad

The billet block sounds like the brake bias valves. I think the parking brake is pedal with spring loaded mechanisms up front and cable that runs to the back and splits to each side. That stuff is so old and probably corroded to the point it might be too far gone to work without replacing a cable or two. Maybe some spray l ube could free things up. Has it been in Maine the whole time? 72k should be some tlc and have a nice vehicle. Keep us posted.
