I have never owned a SHO before but I have been a longtime admirer of the 1st and 2nd gen's (particularly the 1st gens) I frequently check out local ads and ebay for a SHO but never quite found one for the right price. Anyways a very close friend of mine moved back home last month with his wife and newborn to take over the wife's family farm. He had spent the last 5 years travelling Europe, Africa, Asia, doing studies and adventure and that kind of fun stuff. I didn't get to keep in close touch with him between my wife, kid, work and that sorta thing. I finally met up with him this passed Sunday at the farm. Turns out his father in law is a collector of many things, with many vehicles dotting his farmland. Including SIXTEEN 1st and 2nd gen SHO's!!!!! I was almost more excited about seeing all the SHO's than seeing my friend lol. I am VERY excited. SO excited I might put my '88 fox body rebuild on hold. anyhoo I am definitely new to Ess Aych Ohs but not new to frame off rebuilds. I can't wait!

Welcome! I knew there were some nutcases out there ;) 16!!! Wow. If you decide to pick up a SHO and do a frame off restoration, that would be really cool. Anyhoo, glad to have you here.

Now we need pics of this ginormous gathering!

Dude I was giddy like a school girl when I pulled into the property and spotted one, then I couldn't help but grin ear to ear and giggle when I looked around and saw them all over. None that I have seen ( I only got to see 8 of them) were in "show room" condition and 1 was driveable and the rest were "90% of the way to be running".

I am glad that I am not the only one excited! :D I am supposed to go shooting out there this weekend so I will definitely get some pictures. I should add that I am a truck driver and I frequently get surprise trips across the country, so no guarantees.

Nebraska - 16 SHOs . . Al Fritz?

Al still has his '89 that he bought from California years ago, but that's about it. He's been out of the SHO game for many years. I haven't heard that name in a long time though. :)
