Yeah I did one on my 1st SHO. One of the easier things to do. At least there wasn't any rust on the interior of the car. Suspension was a killer.

Hope this universal PS cooler is an acceptable replacement. Line for the oil cooler is currently looped. Might add one in the future. 3656

Can anyone point me in the right direction for buying this seal? Can I use a universal option? Punching "1989 Ford Taurus rear window seal" into Google hasn't been very helpful. 5087

Had to jump my car in the morning last week. Assumed it was because I left an accessory in the cigarette lighter overnight. Drove fine on the way to get gas. At the gas station I had to jump it again after filling up. Then it died on me while driving. Had my multimeter in the car and the battery was at like 9.5 volts. Had it towed home. Charged the battery and it tested ok. Swapped the alternator. Now it cranks but no start. Currently out of starter fluid and brakleen. Going to look at it more tomorrow. I generally suck at diagnosis so idk we'll see.

It seems this bolt was on backwards. Was such a pain to get out. When I installed the new alternator I put on the bolt in the opposite direction.

Haven't posted in a while. I have small children, so it's hard to find free time for wrenching.

New front brakes.

Replaced the blower motor today. Not a difficult job, but a bit cramped. Looks like a rodent was storing food here. Glad it's working again. 93689370

My sway bar end links are toast. $10.17 ea x2 for Moog from Rock Auto + shipping = $33. Auto Zone sells Duralast Gold for $65 ea = $130 total. Who the heck is paying 4x more? 9361

I have an oil leak coming from the back of the engine. Probably a cam shaft seal. I'll have to deal with that next :-(

Didn't realize the heated seats aren't factory until Chad informed me.

Bonus: I recently replaced my water heater. 8316
