Uhhhhhhhhhhh, I can't believe I'm going to ask this and flame onWhere are the safe locations to use a floor jack and jack stands on our 4th gen SHO's?

I have to apologize for that question. I've always done my own repairs and mods on my vehicles. My Marauder, pick up and wife's SUV's are all full frame vehicles. Our 2014 SHO is our first sub frame vehicle since the late 90's.

So what say you? Any pics?

Thanks fellas.

I've jacked my 2013+2016 up either on the suspension arms or the subframes themselves.

Both my Taurii were so stiff that even if I back up into a frozen snow bank (like I do at work in the winter because they don't clean all the spots right), One rear tire will go up the bank on one side, the other tire will come off the ground. There's almost no (or not at all) body flex, so I can't see jacking it up on the corner of one of the subframes will hurt anything.

I'll start by saying that this is what I do and have always done. I've had mine up on jack stands for months before with no issues. Essentially, I jack up the car where the front or rear subframe connects to the body. The jack stand goes under the subframe. People can think it's wrong or say what they want, this is simply what I do that works for me and I'm sharing (use if you want or don't). Here are the pictures (sorry, photobucket won't let me embed photos anymore)...

Front jack point and jack stand. Front of the vehicle to the left....

Rear jack point. From the drivers side looking out the back you can see the rear drivers tire....

Rear jackstand location. From the drivers side looking out the back you can see the rear swaybar for reference....

Nope. Still get that stupid error message, as with all the others since PB began implementing their revised, hostage taking policies.

What a bunch of crap. $400 annually recurring. I'm still miffed myself.

Here are the 3 pictures. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to attach them because I was in quick reply and it didn't give that option until I went into the normal reply. I think these are from when I was replacing the rear turbo (or upgrading the brakes and MC). Either way, it sat on the stands for several weeks in that position.
