I have both Unleashed & LMS tunes. I have not made it to the track yet, will do in March when they open. Now this could just be me or my brain not cooperating but it seems like to me the the preprogrammed 93 tune with downpipes on the SCT tunner is quicker then the 4x-93 race tune with LMS? In my opinion the SCT accelerates faster and is more peppy and that is with the 2 bar sensor. Someone please try to explain this to me b/c I'm not going to know till march and I'm not sure of a AWD dyno in Yorktown area.?

Track times have been comparable between Torrie and LMS... there are a few freak cars on each side of the house... but overall they are comparable...

two different strategies for producing power... Unleashed is bigger boost without any kind of torque management...LMS is lower boost higher timing with some torque management...

Again.. both produce similar times with similar mods...

EDIT: The lack of any torque management combined with higher boost gives the car a more race car type feel however it doesn't necessarily equate to faster 1/4 mile times.

So I live in northern Virginia and there was only one dynojet with linked rollers... Mach V in sterling...

Ptuning in manassas has a dyno dynamics awd setup which are great for tuners, but they tend to be really low on hp and torque.. they are called heartbrakers...

There are a a couple more dynojets in fairfax that say they support awd but the rollers are not linked so it's a waste of time...

Problem is in NoVA the wait list at Ptunning and Mach V are very long...

There might be some other shops and I recall there was another one in fairfax that has a dynojet with linked rollers but I can't remember the name..

They all run about a $100 for three pulls... deposits up front...

AWD dynos shouldn't be a 'heart breaker' because the read out will be lower numbers than a RWD/FWD car.

Theoretically (and logically) if an AWD vehicle produces a sheet with, let's say 400whp. You have to take into consideration the 20%-25% (or more) drive train loss.

Agreed, but Dyno Dynamics have a history of reading 10% lower than Dynojets.... and everyone uses Dynojet as the defacto standard.
