DJ the file is on another computer that is not in my possession at the moment... I'll try to get to it this evening.

To be honest, I was going to go ahead and have a batch of shirts made. This has now taken a backseat (wayyyback) because I'm pinching pennies trying to buy a house.

This is the same thing I was thinking. I got an idea that I think will work well and I've spoken with my source about doing up a couple of different examples as a test run. I've just got to work out the design to meet certain size restrictions. I appreciate any assistance you may offer.

Thanks,

I have been trying a couple ideas, trying to find a logo that would work with a variety of media.

I'm thinking about doing some items using this logo. Would anyone be interested? I can get anything done up, from T-shirts and hats to polos and dress shirts. If interested, just PM me. :salute:

I've talked with my custom clothing provider and have come up with a couple ideas. Looking at T-shirts, we can look at having the logo Embroidered or a Digital Print. Here are a couple examples(with generic logos):

Embroidered

styleimage.html

Estimated Cost- approx. $14 plus shipping

Digital Print

styleimage.html

Estimated Cost- approx. $17 plus shipping

Both shirts are top quality based on premium yarn knitted into a 4.5 ounce jersey fabric. Please share your thoughts and/or comments

Thanks,
DJ :salute:

I must be bored

Tshoc eatc sketch

Rough rough rough sketches. But this one ^ is photochoppable or a real picture, anyone up to it?

Too bad I'm not in school or I could perfect this during class, since I was constantly doodling in school. Anyone see what I'm doing here? Yay or nay? I'll see if my artist mom can do anything with it.

Tshoc intake sketch

Man....I JUST saw what you were trying to do there. I just thought you couldn't draw the intake.

My source sent me back a layout for the Club logo, in embroidery, for shirts and such. Thread colors would be changed based on material color. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. :salute:

That would be no problem. The only problem would be adding a Ford or Yamaha logo. They don't have the releases to use those logos. One nice thing about the company I use is we can have several logo options.

^ That's what I was thinking. A small logo on the front driver's side breast and something larger across the mid back.

You don't want DJ's large on the back though. What DJ has in the works there is something perfect for the driver's side breast, as it's small embroidery (I think). Honestly I'm surprised the embroidery is cheaper than the print, my grandfather back in the 90's used to work in embroidery (was with AA World Class) and he used to have printed shirts made for things even though he got embroidered patches and logos for free  I guess with the printing if you're going with a bigger logo it would cost more than a small embroidered one. That being said, I've made some t-shirts over the years through cafepress and at about $17-18 shipped (last one I did was in '06 so maybe prices have changed) the shirt still looks great and is comfortable. If we did a bulk run of 25ish (**** maybe even 50ish - I know we wouldn't sell'm all at a meet but maybe other forum members would buy, SHO clothes aren't abundant) that individual cost might go down.

Whatever happened to the guy from PA, shoshirtsandhat? He used to send me printed t-shirts for $10 shipped! I have one that has the yamaha tuning fork embroidered on the arm. All of his shirts have held up great, although some of the larges now fit like mediums - but that might be me not the shirt :shakehead . He designed the engine t-shirt that shosource now sells.

I dont wanna bash on the design, Its a good design... I think its kinda boring thought...

Black background, gray writing, white states... needs a little accent to lighten it up...

I know it gets more and more expensive the more we add, but I think its just a little dull looking... thats just my $.02 on it.

I think we need to throw in a red, or a blue or some vibrant color in there somewhere to liven it up...

I got a buddy of mine who does this stuff for a living... just thought of it now... DOH!

The colors would be adjusted to each item, based on the basic color of the item. The Black/Gray/White was just the basic example they sent for my design approval. I can change all the colors to blend and accent the T-Shirt/Hat/Polo color.

As stated, this initial design is simply for a frt shirt or hat emprodry(2.9"X2.8"). We also need to come up with an idea for Screen print design for T-Shirts and such.

As to the costs, I can get runs as little as 4 units for shirts, 7 for hats and 25 for others. They also run specials at various times which would allow considerable savings. The one thing to remember is(whatever the source) to get the lowest price, we will need to buy in bulk and then someone ship out to each individual. To get a business that ships individually, you will be pay 40-50% higher. I've got a test run of a couple different shirts and a Drawstring Cinch Sack. They should be shipped to me before new years and I'll post photos for all to see. :salute:
