Since we will all be together (most of us anyway) why not figure out a design for a T-shirt for the club (a logo). Anyone who wants to bring ideas, designs etc. We can decide as a group and I can work on getting T-shirts made.

Just a thought.Sometimes I have a few. ;)

I'd be down to buy a shirt, I was already thinking of having some made for the next big meet like Carlisle. I'm no good with designs though, just the buying part :nut: Let's be sure to save a few shirts for those who can't make it like DJ, JD, Terry? (haven't heard from him), and whoever else comes to mind.

Sounds great! I have a company, out of Wilmington, who has done up some shirts for me. He can do jobs from 4 units up and doesn't charge extra for the Logo. Here are some shots of a L/S T-Shirt I just had done. Check them out:

That shirt looks nice!

Yeah I was thinking that whatever design we come up with/agree on would be held by someone and whenever anyone wanted shirts we could order them. We can discuss details at the meet and then post and get everyone's opinion

Whatever design you have would be great! There's enough of us to tweak and perfect it before it would be made into a TSHOC logo :)

Why not do the SE SHO Logo That Chad (Irish Pride) made but it says "Tidewater Club" under it and then on the front have it say "SHO" in the same style writing as up under the hood. And make the Shirt Color Yamaha Blue?

Im down for a shirt... Thats my 2 cents though...

I just can't deal with the sideways Yamaha Logo.

I'm all for the Yamaha symbol and all, but if I sell the gen 3 I won't have a Yamaha powered SHO to represent....:frown:

Everyone, it seems, are using the Yamaha logo. I'm not one with Photoshop, but how about a area map outline with the club title overlaid. I'm sure someone can come up with a good example of this design. :salute:

Yes, this! Like the symbol for our social group. But I will say I stole the image from somewhere else since I suck at art. I'd like to see something better :thumb:

Perfect! Like using the state of VA/NC as an outline for the sticker, then having a star centrally located as a center point perhaps, then TSHOC in the middle or something of that nature?

like I said bring your ideas, pictures drawings sketches on a napkin. We can get the idea and perfect it. :)I will also work on some ideas I'm seeing in the posts and try and come up with "pictures" for everyone to see. Looking forward to it!

We can always use ANY font, I just threw that one on there.

I have so many ideas but no ability to put them on "paper". I'll talk with my mom, she's an artist.

edit: woah wierd I just noticed the background of the NC outline, didn't see that before... ignore that crap of course

I luv the split state design!

I like both ideas, but I think the split-state design would work best as an overall design for different uses(ie: stickers, screenprint or embroidery). It also offers a design that can be tweeked easier for changes down the road. :salute:
