Your photos just solidified my color choice of Silver. Great mod. I would be interested in how the shrink wrapping holds up. I like the idea, but would likely just go with solid black myself.

TSS,
From an ease of maint. Sliver is it. If you dont need paint work.

Other than peeling I think the stuff is extremely durable and give its a lease I surely would expect 3yrs. If not I have more.

Where in Mich are ya ?

I agree completely on silver being the easiest color to keep clean. Plus, it tones down chrome the best IMO. I am not a fan of all the chrome parts these days. My current 07 Escalade is silver, and that has far too much chrome "bling" for me. The silver really subdues it all.

I live in East Lansing, my office is in downtown Lansing.

I had not noticed that , it looks great. I have to admit, I am still becoming familiar with all the SHO cues and nuances. I have not seen many on the road, and therefore my experience is limited to my test drives and the array of articles and photos I have been reviewing. I am a detail guy, so if I had a little more time with an SHO in person, I am sure I would have noticed the window trim dechroming. ;) One thing I would like to do is body color the SHO fender vents. I have never been a fan of vents and especially dislike the gaudy Escalade vents. The SHO vents aren't bad, but I still think body colored would be better.

First look I thought everything was black and I liked it, then I saw the bs carbon fiber. I like what you did with the sho badge, but it's a little off center.
