So today I burned a new CD and I went out and put it the CD player and nothing was out of the ordinary. I get inside the car and none of the CD's will play besides the first song on CD 2 and after 20 seconds into the song it sounds like it's being fast forwarded. I turn the car off and start it up again and it gives me an error code saying Error 1 or something along those lines. I get home and I try to eject the CD-magazine out but it just keeps making a mechanical sound and now it's stuck.

Are they any solutions to fix this or am I completely screwed on this one?

much appreciated, the magazine really didn't want to come out but a good tug and it came out, seemed as if 2 CD's were in one slot... I probably shouldn't of been in such a rush this morning! :bonk:

I apologize for the link & run, I was browsing SHOForum and not paying attention to the time. It was only meeting my Dad at KFC for dinner but I try not to be late when he offers to pay. :p

I know a few years ago I had some CD-Rs that were thicker than normal and the CD Changer didn't like them too much. It never got stuck but it would skip those CDs occasionally. Cycling through them again was usually enough to make it load that CD, albeit slower than a normal 'pressed' CD.

I'm pretty sure I just stuck 2 cd's into one slot and it got all jammed because I was in a hurry for class this morning. Only issue now really is it seems to take a long time for the magazine to eject but that's not a big issue I guess. Anywho, I appreciate the link because it still helped!
