Troubleshooting stock JBL system

I don't think my factory JBL system is working properly. There is sound coming out of the speakers but not the factory sub. I'm wondering if the amps are working. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Is the sub hooked up to the silver amp? There is a plug on the black amp that is also connected to the siver amp. Or your sub could be blown or the silver amp

Chances are the sub blew, and the PO disconnected it.

yep. when I bought mine it had the whole woofer box removed from the trunk

I took my woofer box out to inspect the woofer and most of it was, well, gone. So I just bought another 6 inch woofer and replaced it, i used a with a small amp i had bought for another car. As far as the stock amp, I think the yellow wire is the power wire for it, could be wrong though.
