Is there a step-by-step tutorail anywhere I can reference?

Or possibly someone who has the time to work one out in full detail; including all needed parts, as I am not able to get under my car as much as I would like to know more of the basics than I do.

Im no idiot, but when you say drill a hole into the frame, which part are you talking about?

Sorry, if I seem like a fool, but work sucks right now and my head hurts something vicious the past three weeks...

I know there has been debates about this, but if you add an aux cooler, PLEASE keep the cooler on your radiator hooked up as well! There are many benefits to this cooler, that's why every car with an automatic has one from the factory.

I have not found that to be the case with the GEN 3. All you are doing is adding heat to the engine cooling system.

There is no appreciable heating of the ATX fluid from the radiator when the temps are cold as the radiator ATX cooler is on the cold side of the radiator. In the summer it is only dumping more heat into the engine cooling system.

Matt that really sux, well look at it this way atleast you had good help around you to bail you out. it was good to meet you @Carlisle btw.

I'm probably not all that far behind you since my tranny fluid was all over my rear bumper on the way up, luckily no more problems after that. my car hasn't given me a timetable yet on when to expect it to completely STB:nut:

My tranny went out with like 110k on it. I got a replacement, but it wasn't rebuilt, it was just taken from another sho. And with the engine I just got last weekend a good tranny was with it too that has 78k on it. One of them is going to get rebuilt with all the good stuff and the other is going to be kept as a spare.

I don't know yet. It won't be anytime really soon though since buying another engine takes it's toll on a college student. I will let everyone know how much it does cost when it gets done.

it was nice meeting you too

im happy to say i now have over 800 miles on my new tranny, its shifting great starting to get stiffer shifts but having some other problems with the car. when its running wont let me shift out of park, and everytime i accelerate the charging system light goes on. i dont understand eaither but i got around the shifting one, if i turn the key one notch i can shift to N then i can shift from there but once u put it in park you cant get it out.
