With the gyms being closed for pretty much most of the year, I was usually a buff 210-220. Now I'm a ripped 185 and actually not liking it. But this is the weight comparison holding the back seat.

Holding back seat.

It was a discussion about upgrades for a 2020 Explorer ST. They said many of the parts swap over from the Sport to the ST. Looks like they list the SP Precision from the OP but also Level 10 Transmission Built 6F55 and a Sonnax Zip Kit. Anyone have any experience with any of these or heard more about the SP option? Is there a difference between the 6F55 in the Explorer/Edge vs. the SHO?

SP precision is a remanufactured trans....nothing special about it. Same goes with the Level10 trans. They call it "Bulletproof" but when pressed, they won't divulge what was done. Thats because there is NOTHING that can be done. Unless they are making custom billet clutch baskets or something, which they aren't.

The friction plates still aren't out yet, so that isn't being done. Outside of some WPC treatment or Cryo...there is nothing you can really do.

Install the Sonnax Zip Kit and do the larger snap ring on the 3-5-R drum....that is...it. Everything else is simply a factory refresh.

I don't care what anybody is saying, there is literally nothing that can currently be done to these tranmissions outside of one-off billet parts.

I'm pretty tired of these places claiming there is something special they are doing.

@802SHO has something in the works that might be a step in the right direction.

As for the trans in the different platforms...they are 100% identical. Be careful on which final drive you get though...the Explorers came with a few other gear ratio options (don't even entertain the idea of changing them...not much can really be done there).

Like John said I’m currently working on a mod that involves the front diff and it’s nearly complete. I’ll be releasing that once complete. So my welded one is coming back out.

Thank you for posting that information. I was just looking at their site over the weekend and admit I got pulled in on their claims. Glad I didn't go any further. Figured it was to good to be true.
