I’ve recently started noticing symptoms of what I think is my torque converter going bad.

I’ve done a transmission fluid drain and fill and added some shudder fixx which has helped a bit but I’m wondering if it’s worth looking into replacing my torque converter.

I remember gearhead used to produce an upgraded torque converter but I don’t think they do that anymore.

Does anyone know if anyone makes an upgraded unit and if not, where would be the best place to get a replacement torque converter?

Thats the one i have installed. Since February, i dont notice much of a difference. But when i stomp it, it shifts firm and quick but then again the whole transmission got upgraded with better clutch packs also along with a heat treated planetary.
did you have the transmission work done locally or did you buy one that was put together already from a company? I'm looking to upgrade my Transmission in the future and am trying to plan out an upgrade path. with 23x,*** miles I know i wont have too much longer to go on this trans once i start adding some power with what its doing currently
