Trans Kick Down Relay

Does the kick down mechanism fail often? i have problems sometimes with it not shifting down when i step on it. sometimes it shifts to fast also1-2-3 very fast. also while rolling, step on the gas and it slips for a few then grabs. any ideas?

No such thing. The auto transmissions are 100% controlled by the PCM. Start by checking your codes. Things like a problematic VSS, TSS, TPS or MAF sensor can cause shifting issues.
