Trans issue

Maybe someone experienced this. Was getting on the highway and it went to shift to 2nd and plunk..

I have 1st gear in D, 2, 1 on the shift selector. Have reverse too. However, It will not shift into 2nd. No codes either.. Did i fry a band/clutch/whatever?

BTW this is the 3rd trans. Heh.

Does it stay in first gear or does it drop into neutral when it's supposed to go into 2nd (whether manual 2nd or computer-controlled 1-2 upshift)?

Your 4th tranny is now due.....

If you put the shifter in second, do you get manual second.

I guess it drops to neutral because the RPM's go through the roof im at 3500 at about 20mph.. and cant go any faster.
