where can i get a tranny pan gasket for a 1993 ATX? im starting to get big puddles of tranny fluid right under the pan and i can see where the fluid is seeping from around the gasket seal. my fluid level is fine for now b/c it is still in the safe zone on the dipstick but im going to get new tranny fluid when i get the gasket and i am thinking about getting some of b&m's trick shift. anyboy have experience with this product? the speed shop guy says it firms up shifts and and makes the tranny perform better so im thinking about getting it. Thanks

I've been using B&M trick shift for some time and it solved my trannys reluctancy to downshift at full throttle. One of my friends at work has it in his 1991 5.0lx and it shifts great (it also has a shift kit)

Go to any parts store or the Ford dealer and order one. I would torque down the pan bolts if they are loose. Make sure you don't overtighten them as their torque specs are not very high. Over time, the gasket tends to shrink (from what I have been told)and therefore the trans will leak a little. Make sure you don't mix incompatiable trans fluids.
