torque specs

hey everyone this is the weekend im doing valve cover gaskets,thermostat intake,plugs wires was wondering torque specs on valve covers and the intake bolts :

Intake Bolts - 11-17 ft-lbs
Valve Covers - Run it down until you feel the shoulder hit the head, tighten just a little more after that.

I do the intake bolts by hand as well.

The valve cover bolts are 8-11 lb-ft. Just "little finger" pressure on the torque wrench.

Given that I've seen too many people strip or break the bolts, I wouldn't use a torque wrench for those.
