Yup, plug 'n' play. It will show up as VGate or VLink as the network name and should connect no problems/passwords. Then in Torque Pro, be sure to set your device to Wifi. If the device is plugged in and key is set to RUN (if engine is not ON), Torque Pro should negotiate with and recognize the OBD adapter when you enter the Dashboard area.

Really really straightforward. I tend to unplug the adapter when I am done, because I don't like leaving a Wifi network on unnecessarily, but that's just me.

Just curious if anyone has ever recorded what their top speed is been with these babies. I know the speedometer says 140 but I'm sure some of you cough cough have gone faster. I myself have gotten about 132 135 out of her so far. And I think I still felt like I had plenty of pedal.

Mine has seen 140 pre-tune, haven't pushed it with the tune.

Will this work using a tablet instead of phone?

Post up a pic of your Torque "dashboard" when you are ready! There are a few "skins", I think more can be downloaded from online. I've kept mine pretty basic tho.

We have figured out a lot of custom gauges (Knock, Trans Temp, Learned Octane Ratio, etc...) and once you are familiar with the basics of Torque pro I highly recommend you add some of them to your setup! If you want a link let me know and I can get it to you.

I use the GPS speed on Torque Pro as it seems to be more accurate. Just hit a new top speed this weekend actually ;)

There was some guy who claimed 172 on FB a couple of weeks ago.

While he was DUI.

The conversation went as well as you would think.
