Just curious if anyone has ever recorded what their top speed is been with these babies. I know the speedometer says 140 but I'm sure some of you cough cough have gone faster. I myself have gotten about 132 135 out of her so far. And I think I still felt like I had plenty of pedal.

It was surprisingly stable and felt planted, but I'll give that credit to the coilovers.

So I assume we're talking post-tune? There's some cool vids on YouTube with Gen 4 SHO's tuned trying to hit top speed. One video the SHO races a "ricer," and destroys him but decides to keep it floored and I think he was well over 150 and still pulling. The video was a race at night.

The scantool I mentioned above is the best one out ($100)...many have had success with the Elm ($15), and some have had the cheaper ones fail...

So far so good with the VGate wifi adapter + Torque Pro; second the OBDLink MX for a Bluetooth connection. Not liking OBDLink's wifi product though ...

Wow, 100 bucks vs 15 for vgate? Why the disparity?

OBDLink is VERY fast and will likely outlast any other less expensive adapter. It will return more parameters and at a greater frequency. Plus it has great forum support and firmware updates.
