You got it. Check the all of the vacuum hoses for proper routing and connection. You should also closely inspect them for breaks or checking, and replace any hoses necessary (a few cents per foot at any auto parts store).

I just did the same job for the first time last weekend, and there's two really troublesome vacuum lines: one tee fitting under the IAB, and one or two well hidden really short lines off the back of the manifold. Mine were dried out, but since I hadn't the foresight to bring new vacuum line to the shop, I just trimmed the ends and crossed fingers.

I guess everything's OK...doesn't seem to run much different for all that effort.

I was trying to clear up a PT surge, between 3K and when the secondaries open - any ideas?

Well I sprayed starting fluid on every vacuum line I could find and had my father in-law sit in the car as it idled and he saw no fluctuation on the tach. Maybe I'm a little to critical now after I cleaned the intake but before it was a noticiable sound and performance jump at 3900 when the secondaries opened.
Going away for the long weekend - When I get back plan on checking every vacuum line and changing out the TPS.
