Does anyone know of a comprehensive database of tire weights anywhere on teh interwebs? As much as we talk about the weight of wheels, the weight of the tires we mount is just as important if not moreso, given that tires are the furthest from the axle and will have the greatest influence on inertia.

In the broad strokes, anyway.

Tirerack lists weights for the tires they sell.

I didn't weigh them to verify, but my 17x8 OZ Crono HTs and 245/45/17 Continental ExtremeContact DWs should weigh about 42 lbs each. That's pretty hard to beat.

I have weighed stuff firsthand, and the tire rack specs are sometimes off, sometimes off very far.

For that matter, even some of the manu specs are off from what I actually weigh.
