Does anybody know where to find gasket for the timing cover? Mines leaking pretty good and i would like to replace mine while the motor is out. Also like to replace the ac compressor clutch( ac gets warm after 20 min of operation) but i dont think their are any more replacement clutches available .

When you say timing cover you talk about valve covers (2) or the front cover on the belt side (1) ? I found gasket for valve covers recently. You make a search on e-bay and company specialized in buying old new parts from Ford dealerships but when I called at Ford they said they still have some for each side (at least here in Canada, probably at Toronto for 60$ can.). I don't know the situation for the front cover gasket. If you're doing valve covers gasket, I suggest you to replace the seals of the plug well. Mines begun to leaking on the plugs when I remove valve cover... (Ford still have them too for maybe less than 10$ each and they are a bit harder to find on the net.)

You can find an old a/c compressor on e-bay around 225-300 $ If you have the Ford part number, google it and you can find some others place to buy it. I never saw separate parts for it on the net.

Good luck,

We might be able to get a new clutch for $260 shipped. It would only be warrantied for fitments and not for defects. Our supplier stopped selling clutches because the defect ratio was too high. The majority of the time they went bad because the compressors themselves were going bad and were taking out the clutches.

We do offer new Compressors at SHO Source.

NAPA - #18757 - Timing Cover Seal - $10.04.

I need Timing Cover Gaskets ( their are 3 of them, front left, center, front right) not the seal. I hate to rtv it( rather have new gaskets, makes things less complicated) but has anybody ever done that before?

For the spark plug seals, not so hard to find, Ebay or Ford vintage parts have them too (7-8$ each.).

Wow, they really are vintage - not even a website! Thought you may have been referring to ebay so I searched there. Nope.
Can you give me some help on finding this "Ford Vintage Parts" source you mention?

Thanks!
