Reuse the valve cover gasket with rtv to help seal it up. There is, and has been, nothing out there with vc gaskets for a long time on the v8 cars. Having regular maintenance and opening them up for so many cam weld jobs burned through the supply a little faster. The only things keeping me from getting another GenIII is parts availability and the football integrated hvac/stereo... and tra ns rebuild quality. This is the most low production run orphan SHO ever made. Parts extinction was always going to be an issue. There are probably not enough on the road to get a small batch run of most anything-- unless it is an owner willing to do something out of attachment to keeping their car viable.
