Are refering to a tool or a graphic of how all the timing marks align.

Only tool is the cam alignment tool and its nice to have (I have a set) but isn't required.

As for the diagram of the timing marks you can get them from any manual and they will probably confuse the $^&* out of you. Top dead center #1 alingment marks for each cam/head is set perpindiculer with the respective head as well as all black links on the chain will match up to each pully/timing gear. The gothch is the tone ring some are generic and have two key ways approx 135 deg apart you pick the wrong one and youget to take it apart and try again. So when you dissassemble mark the tone ring.

All you need to do is set everything at cylinder 1 TDC and then just hang the chain with all the colored links aligned to the dimples with the exception of the balance shaft where the two colored links straddle the dimple. Takes about 2 minutes. I usually recommend starting with the balance shaft first since everything else will fall into alignment pretty easily that way.

The only tools we use from the V8 toolkit are the valve spring compressor, compressor brackets, and tappet holder. Everything else is pretty much useless.
