first time poster to this forum, new sho owner, a 93 red auto. I really like the car I got a real good deal on it.
I own a 82 mustang gt, a 93 lightning as well, I do all my own work its fun.
anyway, the gauge went a little high here in minnesota during one of our below zero mornings, so today it hit 20 ohhhh warm so I did the thermostat with the help of the forum and previous posts.
anyway all said and done it went just fine except the 10 mm socket that fell in the snow and is gone till the spring and the mower chuckes it through my garage window.
I was burping it a little to get the air out and when I wasnt looking it filled the spark plug hole full of coolant, now I have a mysterious miss, argh!!! well i found it right away when I got back from my trip around the block, cleaned it out and it was fine.
the car warms up much faster, and runs a little warmer around the m on the gauge.
the car has 169,000 on it runs like a sewing maching from iowa so no rust hope to get lots more miles out of her.
have a good one. Byron
