Thermostat swap

Quick question I'm gonna put a tune on my 010 just put new turbos on hopefully first start today anyways since the coolant is low can I install a 170 thermostat and not pop a cel available

why is the coolant low?

simply installing a lower temp tstat wont pop a code. however it the engine never gets to operating temp as a result, it will.

Put the stat and the tune in at the same time. You need to tell the tuner about the stat as it affects the fans.
