Ten 60k's and I have never rolled a valve cover gasket....till now. Thought I checked it, but musta missed it. Started it up and let it run a bit...no leak...let it run a bit more....gusher from the rear valve cover on the timing belt side....ouch. So back to the basics, I take the intake off again.

I rolled a gasket, pulled it off- fixed and reassembled everything and then broke a VC bolt.

Thankfully, it was on the front, but still. Filed under WTF?!?

Still think I got you beat. Pinched the ground strap under the valve cover. Didn't find it for a year. Tore the valve cover gasket. Had to buy a set just for the rear one. Anyone have a rear gasket for sale?
