terrible bogging on ATX

i have a 93 ATX and it has terrible bogging between 1st and 2nd gear shift. This a sign of wear and tear or just a tranny rebuild? Also, how much would a tranny rebuild run for (estimate)?

Was that to rebuild yours, buy a rebuilt and put it in, or for a new one?
