The above mods were completed on my car. The module was burnt to accept the MAF, the problem is we had to use a 4" to 3" adapter to accept a 3" cone filter when it really should be a 4", I'm not sure what K&N filter to buy because I do not know what year the Lincoln MAF is from, Any help please? Once I get the correct cone filter it will place it closer to the air path as it should be.

The car is night/day difference with these mods. Any ideas on HP gained with these changes??

The size adapter will screw with the MAF readings(been there, done that). I used a K&N cone filter part# RF-1015 or you can go over to http://www.knfilters.com/universal/univrndtap.htm and choose any of the filters with a 4" opening.

Here's mine installed

K&N doesn't sell directly from their website. Find the filter you want from the list, write down the part# and go to a local retailer that sells K&N filters and see if they will order it for you.

That's the air temperature sensor, it's not very critical so just zip tie it somewhere near the filter. Or you can drill a hole in the intake piping and install it there.
The air temperature sensor (ACT) is actually more critical than you might think. At the very least, I would recommend that you find a way to secure it at some point along (and inside) the intake stream as was suggested. Leaving it exposed to the hot engine bay air will drastically affect your ACT readings to the EEC and your SHO will not run as optimally as it should.

The SHO Shop filter is 7" x 4.5" x 3.5" with a 3.5" opening. It is K&N part number RC-3180.

nope never did find out i ended up plugging it with a rubber cap. my theory is that since the filter is for a jet ski application maybe its for something a jet ski has that plugs into or adapts to that hole.
