1) The amp in the trunk..make sure a connector is plugged into each side.
2) The connectors are plugged into the back of the radio. (There is a power connector, a speaker connector, the antenna, and the wire clip for the buttons by the steering wheel. There is also a cd player connector if you have a factory cd player.)
do you get any sort of hissing or audible pops when adjusting volume, treb, bass, etc. If so, you're headunit may have checked out. Both of the stockers in my 95 and my dads 93 went bad.
Or is this a problem with the tape player only (radio working fine)?
No actually i dont have any brakelights but i checked the fuses before and im pretty sure they were all good. I checked them with a test light and a visual test. I noticed that one connector is out of the amp. Its on the left side and i dont know where the connector is, i didnt have much time to look it was getting late and dark.
I checked today and there are two connectors going into the amp. I was looking at the wrong thing before. The amp is black not silver right? I checked all the fuses and theyr good. I have no idea:banghd:
