Hey guys... Two days ago my SHO started making a suction type noise during acceleration that sounded like it was coming from the drivers side of the engine near the firewall. It sounds like an exhaust leak... I inspected my pipes, and mufflers and all seem OK (No leaks or holes). There is also a decent power loss associated with whatever this air leak is. Well... This morning I happened to be looking down behind my EGR valve, and can see what appears to be a rubber hose line that has melted between the EGR tubing. The end on the left side of the EGR tube has a small hose clamp on it, but the hose is melted in the middle, and on the end of it that's coming out the right side of the EGR tubing. Any ideas what could be going on here? It is a real tight squeeze to get my camera down there, but I have managed to get two photo's to show you. Not the greatest, but it's all I could manage............

well if it is rubbed through or burnt through my suggestion would be to do your best to remove it. put some stainless steel or that autozone hose cover thats made out of some sort of metal.
