Sync 2 radio issues

Hey everyone. So I am experiencing some of the issues that I have read about here regarding Sync 2's shortcomings. The USB connection to my iPhone is hit or miss and the blue tooth connects but sometimes just does not play what is playing on the iPhone. Question I have is as I have the Premium Care ESP would they just replace the Sync 2 system with another Sync 2 is they cannot fix it or would it be at least a Sync 3 or newer?
