SVT Wheels on a SHO?

As some people said, 17x9 is way too wide. They stick out in the front and pretty much forget about putting these on a Gen I. Save your wheel bearings and find something narrower.

yeah, 9" is pretty freakin wide. We'd never need that much width, anyways. Unless you plan on running something greater than a 245 wide tire, 8" is absolutely as wide as you need to go. :thumb:

Kinda sucks that the Tbird SVTs are only 7" wide, but they tuck a 235 fairly well, extremely slight "overbuldge". I mounted a set for Tom Ochal of our SHOcago chapter. On a black gen 2, they are EXTREMELY sexy. I'd dare to say the best runner up to the slicer.
