svt cobra rims

Well I want 17's and I don't really care about tire size or width etc. But I definately want the svt thunderchicken rims in 17's. I have intrax lowering springs if that makes a difference. Is there any who wants to sell theirs or know where I can get some for cheap.

I've seen the 17x9's on a second gen sho and it looked funny. They stuck out and looked slightly ghetto, but you can get a bigger tire on it.

Does anyone know of a place that I could get 17x7 svt thunderbird rims from at a decent cost, or if anyone is willing to sell me a set let me know.

Hey SHOitoff...There is a place in Mich. that sells motorsport and has a decent price..They are called Diversified Products...I ordered a set of Y2k Cobra wheels for my stang(when I had it) and got a pretty good price. Their number is 734-459-0130. I deal with Belinda every time, I get a better price from her than the other guy that answers the phone(he is kind of a D.I.Q.(dick). Hope this helps!

17 x 9 yea i would like to see ya try and fit those on a sho!!! impossible. leave the big tires, to cars WITH POWER!!!! 17 x 7 they might fit. if you get the right back spacing. those rims let see those are 95 cobra knock offs made to fit a thunder chicken, and you people are putting them on a sho. why??? by the way i hate those rims. every *** who has a mustang puts those ugly ass rims on they're car don't start with the sho's!!!!!

I always deal with her. I paid around $175-180 per wheel but the wheels I had were the Y2K cobra R wheels for my stang(18x9.5). Ask for Belinda, she may be able to get you other parts if needed, all they sell is Ford stuff&parts. Let me know if there is another wheel you might like as well, I have some connections.

Your a tadbit close minded to say impossible, here are the 17x9's with 245mm tires mounted on the "impossible" SHO.

That is the right number, I know that they have had phone problems in the past. Just keep trying, I called them the day before yesterday at that number and got talked to them.

I think the main reason people put those rims on their shos is to support the much bigger and better brake systems that require 17" rims. I know I don't plan on putting anything but cobra rims when I finally decide to upgrade the brakes. Just my 2 cents.

As for the anger and frustration..... I just got my car back on the road after 60 days of downtime. Most was spent waiting for the correct parts to get the clearance in my motor in check after putting stage II cams and doing 60k. It's been well worth the wait as everything looks to have turned out ok. Just don't get too mad and start sending out general threats to those who are inconveniencing you. It makes you feel better but doesn't help the situation. I was real ****** a little while ago, now I'm happy as can be.
