Suspention grinding around turns???

I have a 1993 mtx and when i take a hard right turn it makes this horrible grinding sound sounds almost lie kthe rim is digging into the asphalt or something which its not. could this be the cv's gogin bad or what. Any ideas anyone???

I had a SHO that did this as well. Turned out to be the backing plate rubbing the rotor.

CV joints are very noticeable, they make a horrible sound. Its very possible.

Dust shield behind the rotor is another possible one, like stated above.

actually thats quite possible i have 16" dynamics wheels with baers 12.5" big break kit so thats probably hopefully it. How would i check that and know thats what it is i guess id see scrap marks? Also if thats what it is does it realyl matter or since it doesnt happen much its not a problem as long as its not messign my rotors.
