surging

I just had my oil changed yesterday in my 94 ATX, and now when I'm on the freeway between 100-110 km/h, the car feels like its surging, like somethings missing or there's a vacuum leak somewhere? also the CEL has come on mysteriously....

any ideas?

Had the codes pulled - left bank O2 sensor intermittent response, and a bad IAV valve. Having a dad who owns a Ford dealership has a tonne of benefits

Parts will be here tomorrow, hopefully this will fix it

Your symtoms of the CEL definitely points to the rear O2 sensor. Since your Dad gets Ford parts at a good price, you should replace the front O2 sensor as well. Also have you done any other maintenance on your SHO ?

Fresh O2 sensors will also help your gas mileage :wave:
