it wouldn't be worth it IMO. the supercoupes use Eaton M90 roots blowers mounted directly to the intake manifold. Most of the SHO's power comes from its intake mani and head design. Changing that is working backwards to add boost. Just keep what you've got and boost it.

In a NA application, yes. When boosted, the power no longer comes solely from the intake design. With a positive displacement blower, you can fabricate an intake to make it work. You could also do away with the A/C and run your blower there and route piping to the intake.

The fabrication part i can deal with (with some help), but will it increase the power of the car enough to make the fabrication worth doing?

Any time you force more air into the motor (with fuel), you're going to get a bigger explosion in your cylinder. This causes the piston to be fired down harder which equates to more power.

Do you fully understand how and internal combustion engine works?

You can get a good amount of power and even more if you beef up the motor and set it up right. I would recommend the 94-95 blower.

A member on the forum has made one work on his show. He had to fabricate a new intake and it sat high enough that he had to cut a hole in the hood for it. He is SHONuff93 I think. You will need a new fuel pump and injectors at the minimum as well as a tunner for it like a Tweecer.

Where in Colorado are you located? I may be able to help you with what you want to do. You're in a great state for boosted SHO's (nevermind the fact that only 1 out of the 5 SC SHO's are actually driveable).

Would a super charger off of a 3.8 t-bird work on my sho?

Not in a million years. Don't try it, it's never been done before so it can't be done.

Just kidding. Of course it can be done, just get yourself a blower off of a 94 or 95 supercoupe or a late model GM and adapt away. In a SHO car application, I would remove the front exhaust manifold, fab up the blower mount and plumbing, and then fab a set of headers.

Ceramic coat the outside of the plumbing to keep radiator air from pre-heating everything and definitely use an intercooler.

who has the five...and the one running?
I'm not sure what you are asking...

Pat McGrath has 2 (one has a Koni blown through the bottom of the strut housing, the race SHO is missing a motor, but is ready to go in since Pat and I rebuilt it a few weeks ago)
Terry Richard has 1 (only driveable SC SHO in CO)
Gary Morrell has 1 (Blown rear main)
Jason Zuress has 1 (Blown rear main)

I'm located in Aurora, soon to be Fort Collins. What are you needing to do to the car? I ask so that you can avoid having to redo things.

And I've been driving the **** out of it too  Other than a little idle hicup and having some trouble finding traction in 1st gear, the Outlaw runs like a top.

I need to know what upgrades i have to have for the engine, i haven't started anything yet. Waiting on getting a second car, have a SHO i can get for 250 runs, just needs tie rods. Once i get a second car, i will start.

I'm going to PM you my number, give me a call when you want to talk supercharging. I'll get you pointed in the right direction as to what you do and do not need to upgrade for boost.
