Summer Meet - Aug 6th, Hallett Raceway

What time should we all meet up? Closest place for breakfast would be the McD on the turnpike, wouldn't it?

I have to be at the track by 715am, but nobody else needs to be there that early. They will open the gates and allow you to come across track between sessions, so whenever you show up is fine. AFAIK, there are no McD's on this section of pike (Cimmaron).

I thought there was a big rest stop in the middle of 412 not far from there... I think they tore it down and rebuilt the whole thing a few years ago.

Bad news bears.... Barring some miraculously quick brake job on my fiance's Altima and an even quicker valve cover gasket job on my '94, I won't be making it. Nice, new crunch noise coming from her FR wheel when on the brakes, and I've pushed the SHO long enough on oil-coated plugs. Going to Warr Acres today to get the last plenum gasket I can find available so I can do plugs and valve cover gaskets tomorrow. This heat plus the oil soaked plugs is making for some awful gas mileage and is causing the car to stall out. Wish me luck tomorrow!
