Jedhead----I am not sure if Brian will be offering them at SHO Bros since they are a pain to ship.

You can easily wrap them together with HD tape, then slap a label on them, no box needed. :thumb:

i was plannin on usin' Chrome Moly... It wouldn't weigh more then 30#... i'm not running 4" pipes!! I plan on running tubes up to the braces at the subframe & pinch welds. Size hasn't been determined, mainly because of ground clearance. Also, with tubes, all you have to do is notch them or shave them for running lines, etc...

From the horses mouth-

Our Original Subframe Connectors are the short version.

We originally engineered them to be that way back in 1996. We designed them, built them and began installing them first. Then I had a discussion with the Mad Russian at the Detroit convention (no disrespect intended) and gave him the details. Now everyone and their dog makes them.

Our Original Subframe Connectors are exactly the right length, they are made of the right materials, the ends ar beveled and capped for her pleasure, they are coated for long life and we provide installation istructions for proper installation.

Oh yeah, and we've got 46 sets on the shelf. They sell for $129 and shipping ususually $15 or so.

Please pardon the tone of my post as it irritates me to to no end when our original designs are copied over and over.

Vadim got upset at everyone copying his designs. But hey, that's capitalism.
But some people were so brazen that they not only copied the design but used the picture that Vadim took on thier website. People steal the designs of others save a couple $$$ and when the vendors are gone complain about the lack of aftermarket support.

FWIW, that's most likely the reason you have 46 sets on the shelf and most wanting long style SFC's. Although you have the ends capped and coating on the steel, buyers are more interested in lower prices. Your quality might be 100x better, but a lot of this SHO market is turning to the younger crowd as the older folks have already purchased these parts. And when someone young is buying, the selling point is the cost of the product.

Id have to agree with you on that.. besides most people wanting full legth.

I realize you innovated them for the SHO or whatever, but lets be serious.. that is alot of money for powdercoated steel. No offense intended just MO.

Yea, Im young too...

And I want a good set of SFCs but I am almost set on full-lengths, However.. I cant find them really and most SFCs are costly... kinda

When I do decide to buy SFCs, Im going to get the ones that provide the best bang for the buck, and **** I can paint them myself.

Again, No offense intended

There's no difference in handling between the longies and the shorties. they both do the same thing and that's to tie the front of the car to the back of the car. The only real advantage is that they give you a place to put a jack. But in cars that are lowered, it makes it tougher to get the jack under there in the first place.

To each thier own, I suppose. Just know that the originals are still in stock (out of my last order of 150 sets, there are only 46 sets left).

Vadim's spirit still lives on with his engineering, research, and dyno proven results. SHOBros is going to continue this legacy (just with better biz practices).

I can attest to that. I've tried both. No discernable difference between short vs. long.

Huge benefits in either case.

Shorties are better. Less weight, less welding, less shipping costs, same handling benefits ... need i say more
