I have heard of two types of subframe connectors, one being a shortys, which is two shorter bars and one which is full body which is longer (the one I think the shoshop sells). Which one would be better and if shorty's, where would you get them at? any vendors?

Make sure you check out www.prosuspension.com. Nook's been making these for quite some time. I believe they're still $89 delivered.

Also, make sure you install them properly (no matter where you get them) so you can still drop the fuel tank to get to the pump, if necessary.

I'd steer clear of the SHO Shop's SFC. You'll be up a creek without a paddle when you have to drop the fuel tank to install a new pump. Otherwise, you could install a new pump assembly now in hopes that you'll never have to drop the tank again, then buy the SHO Shop's SFC and have them welded up. hehehe But I still advise against it.
bs If you are having problems with fuel tank removal, you are installing the connectors wrong. We have had out connectors out for over 3 years now, and I have yet to hear of problems with clearance issues (with the exception of an exhaust hanger once in a while, which can simply be bent for clearance), as a matter of fact - we introduced the Full-Body Subframe Connectors (and H-braces) to the SHO market - most of the others are more or less knock-offs of our designs.

I understand you have bad feelings towards me because I simply do not believe the claims you put out or this "European SHO" you refer to, but pushing bad advice on others or making false claims on our parts is not going to be accepted. Grow up, or buy a different car.

That's okay Tom, I borrowed your design to make mine - where do I send your royality check to thumbs_u

BTW - I haven't had any trouble dropping my fuel tank either, actually I think it helps with installation of the tank.

Tom speaks the truth. Any set of the "long" SFC's will inhibit the fuel tank from dropping if installed incorrectly. You have to attach the SFC's in the right damn spot, people!

I drove a SHO brand new on the Ford dealer's lot in Altenrhein Switzerland when I was visiting my in-laws back in 94 and wanted to SHOw my father in-law what kind of car I was going to buy. It was the exact 49 state SHO that was sold here, the only mods done to it was a couple of European DOT things, the 3'rd brake light was not legal over there back then so it was disconnected and covered over. The reason they didn't sell well in Europe is because Ford offered way better choices for high end sedans in Europe back then. I drove a Orion that I wish I could of had here. It made the SHO look like a 86, 4 cyclinder ATX SLO . A different Euro model SHO is bs just like you said.
