Strange issue while tuning

I received my SCT X4 and tune from unleashed today. I've used SCT products for years and never once had this happen. When the x4 was writing the new tune into the ecu my windshield wipers would make a sweep. It was like they were on the lowest intermittent setting, but they were turned off on the stalk. Has anyone else had this happen? Car runs great and I don't have any issues. Will probably send Torrie a datalog after driving it for a couple days to see how it is running.

Perfectly normal as the PCM is being updated, part of the self-check process. Not unlike the gauge sweeps on a digital dash when car is started.

My '12 F150 would do some crazy things while tuning so I figured it was fine, but just always a little worried since it is a brand new vehicle.

So far the tune feels real good. Will do some data logging this weekend to have Torrie look at it as well.

There are sometimes random crazy things that happen during/after tuning. Like the running boards on the trucks usually reset themselves to not deploy. Your radio stations might get wiped. Your seat memory may employ the easy entry/exit setting. Honestly, there is no rhyme or reason. There are just sometimes that a packet gets lost during handshaking or rerouted to a strange place...nothing to lose sleep over. Most likely Torrie will get you hooked up easily, if not let us know.

On my SCT Torrie tune, windshield wipers sweep throughout, lose my sound setting, and get the SYNC maintenance screen.

My 2013 behaved the same.

Perfectly normal.
