My SHO has recently started doing something strange when braking. It only does it when the car is almost to a stop, like from 5-0 mph. The pedal kicks back like the ABS is cycling, and it feels like something is going on with the DS front wheel (I am 90% sure is is happening at this wheel, but it is a bit hard to tell becuase of the vague "feel" of an ABS system). It is like that wheel is trying to lock up or be grabby, but there is apparently nothing wrong with that brake...I had it apart a couple days ago replacing the control arm, and the pads are 1/4" thick, the rotor looks great, and no leaks. The brake is not dragging when driving, just does this odd thing when coming to a stop. ABS light has not came on.

I don't have the cash to start randomly replacing parts, so any suggestions about what direction to go with this would be appreciated!

Sounds like the rotor may be slightly warped. Or, you can visually check the ABS sensor ring for damage. It is just a cog, and you should easily identify any cracks or damaged teeth.

as stated above, check the abs ring on the axle. Thats probably the problem. a warped rotor you really wouldnt feel it that much the slower you go.
