Am I correct to assume that when I swaped my stock head unit for a aftermarket cd head unit that the factory meory and volume control buttons are now useless? If so no big deal, I got a lazy mans stereo with a remote control, like its a far reach to the radio in a SHO! :D

www.crutchfield.com has a little thing you can buy to wire in to retain those button's functionality. Personally I can't see the reasoning to justify the expense, but to each his own :)

Doesn't matter whether or not it is in the steering wheel, dash, headliner, etc... That will work.
