It reinforces the threaded boss that the rod shifter bolts to. mtx cars have a history of ripping this boss away from the rest of the transmission case. It's cheap insurance to help prevent an expensive fix.

Bump - lower price on the carbon fiber strut tower braces. Much more to come (as soon as I have time to take pictures and post!)

I have four barely used and repainted ASA IS6's (17x 7.5). I bought them to replace a set that I curb rashed. A tire shop accidentally removed some paint so they were shipped off to a body shop for a respray. The respray was really high quality but I never mounted them after getting them back. Two tires (General UHP's?) are brand new and two have about 60% of their life left. I ran the ASA's without their center caps which looked really nice.

I also have the 17x8 TSW Hockenheim R's that the car is currently sitting on.

The ASA's are ~ 19.5lbs per wheel and IIRC, 42lbs with tires.

The Hock R's are boat anchors but they look sweet and are wide. Selling the ASA's would be the easiest for me at this time but I could roll the SHO on some slicers if anyone is interested in the Hock R's.

Sorry guys, I didn't see the thread replies until just now.

The Hock R's are dual pattern but the lugs are covered.

The ASA's are single pattern.

I got your PM's Steve - someone just made an offer on those parts that you wrote me about plus another but I'll let you know how it goes.

Life continues to be super crazy so I haven't been on the forum too much lately. Everyone who sent money has received parts.

I did sell the CF braces. I will update the ad to notate which items have been sold as well as add new items.

thanks!
