still not runing correctly

I replaced the plugs and the o2 sensor and it still runs bad. How long does it take the o2 sensors to teach the computer what is going on? I don't have any codes. I do have white smoke coming frome the tailpipes all the time. It is sputtering and there is not all that much power! The plug wires are only like 2 months old! I can smell gas and I believe it is coming from the ehaust. Maybe the Cats are bad? The only thing I did was clean the intake and replace the valve cover gaskets.....It idles fine aside from the spitting. Almost like there is too much fuel or there is no place for it to go.
Any ideas???????? Please, My wife is already angry about me having to do all this extra stuff steming from what I originally started out to do.

Are you sure that you didn't hook up a coolant line to a vaccum port on the throttle body or IAC valve?

i don't think so, but could someone give me an idea of what I should be looking for? Or does anyone have a picture or diagram of the water lines and vac. I could have sworn that I hooked it all back correctly. Thanks Again for all the help!!!

No pics. Really gotta agree with Scott and pete. That's alot of moisture. What area is Van Wert? Do you live near any other SHO owners? Having another along side to compare would fit the bill.

I am in between Lima OH and Ftwayne IN. It makes sense though. There is a guy at the local dealership that bought one so I am going to see if I can get ahold of him in the morning. I know my baby really wants to run though. I miss here dearly!!! Hopefully someone has a picture they can show me!

Would anyone happen to have a diagram or a picture of where the coolant and vac hose attach to the throttle body along with underneath the intake? I agree with spdatt that I have a coolant line hooked up wrong and would appreciate anything, no matter how crude it is. as long as it gets the message across.
