starting problems...

93atx when cold starts up perfectly, but after warmed up it will just crank and crank and after a few minutes it will start and the tach will not work for a while.

i have been told cam sensor, but it isn't throwing a code for that...any suggestions?

Not a cam sensor...that's a crankshaft position sensor. It usually throws a 211 code.

Thanks, but no codes for this are showing...is it possible to have a bad sensor without the computer recognizing it?

Yes, sometimes the Crankshaft Position Failure will start going south, and will not yield any codes.
