starting problems...?

hello I'm new to the sho game....and trying to learn some things....
on Monday i was driving my 93 atx it got 150 k on it, never had any problems until now, well i came to a stop and it just died... and would not start back up...i am getting fuel to the fuel rail, but i have no spark...the motor is turning over..but just no fire...i tested the ignition module on the intake runner...and it is ok...this leaves me thinking the coil or the crank sensor...frome reading on here i guessing the crank sensor...does this sound right to you guys...how much trouble is this to change..?
it looks like its buried pretty good can an average guy do this ? can it be reached with out taking out the motor...sorry for the dumb questions but I'm a non machanic...any help would be appreciated

Sounds like the CPS to me!

It's not that bad to change, while you're in there go ahead and do the rest of the front (lower) 60k miles service, check the link in my sig for the step-by-step guide. If you have any questions just shoot me an email.

To answer your questions, yes you can do it without taking out the motor and yes an average guy can do it as long as you take your time and you're careful.

sorry i did not realise i had posted this in the gen 111 thread, thank for the advise...shoud i buy a new one from ford of go with an after market one ( advance auto etc.) i would presume that a water pump and belt would be a good idea wile i am in there...?

waterpump, CPS, crank seal, cam seals, timing belt, etc. everything that's listed on my site.

and remember, the CPS probably went bad because of something getting it wet, like a bad waterpump or cam seal.

look at the parts list on my site for the best sources to get the parts.
