Hey Guys,

I need your expertise on an issue. I have auto-start, and sometimes when I start the car using it, it'll start on the first try, but the majority of the time it takes 2 or 3 tries or will not start at all. Same thing for when I manually start the car, sometime it'll take 3-8 seconds and some pumping of the gas pedal to get her started. Other times it'll start right up. Anyway I'm asking what are some of the components I can check/replace to make my car start right up. I've replaced spark plugs, I have plug wires to install. The only thing left I can think of is the DIS, starter and fuel pump. I know I'm missing some stuff so what are some other things I should be looking at.

Thanks in advance for all the help/advice

BTW - I have a '93 MTX

I once concluded that I had always been wrong which turned out to be right. But now since that was right I no longer have been wrong all the time!

It could be that the fuel pressure is getting lost after the prime. Either through the regulator or the check valve in the fuel pump. It could also be the cam shaft sensor. (CID) Is there any Codes at all?

No, no codes. It's not a major problem. Just trying to figure out how to get the auto start to fire up on the first try.
