I just cant seem to get my car running right for more than a day or two. The new problem is that it stalls while driving. Just randomly shuts off. I will be driving down the road, and the tach will fall and the car dies. It also wont start all the time either. Go out to my car, and wont start, cranks but wont turn on. There is no check engine light either. I have replaced many things lately cause of random failures, please help me get my car working properly, I need it for school soon. Thank you, aaron

Does the car restart when it cools down? Mabye a bad CPS? Check your DIS connection on the passenger side of the intake.

As usual check your codes, i had an intermitent stalling problem also and even tho the the tach was still reading while cranking it was code 14 and the ole crank sensor, no matter where i was at lower speeds it would stall and would take from 5 min to an hour to start, i was afraid to do the highway
stalling at 75mph can get your attention... good luck

I'll offer my basic suggestions.

I'd check into all appicable grounds (and positive lines too!) first. Make sure the DIS is also nice and grounded. The two bottom bolts on the DIS, two 12 mm cross-over tube bolts, and the grounding strap on the intake should be checked.

But I'll also tag along with all the others and say it sounds like the CPS is starting to go out.

I'd test it the next time the car won't start with a test LED. Search for Ignition/DIS troubleshooting procedures that rangerj has posted numerous times.
