So... the part I need is the: ABS Hydraulic Sending Unit correct? (Or do I need the ABS Computer?)

I'm looking for it and only see it on O'Reilly's website. Do they even make these anymore or do I just need to find a good used one?

You need the ABS computer IIRC. If I were you, I'd try to find a good used ABS Module from any year other than a 98'. Those are the ones that seem to have spontaneous failure issues. Just my 0.02.

The "issue" with the 98's is the speedo not working above about 120. I don't beleive that problem has ever been isolated to the ABS module. In fact I believe the ABS module has been disproven as the source of that specific "problem".

The one I had fail on me was in our 99. the root of the problem I say is the manufacturer (Bosch) But I believe someone had found that the very fine and delicate wires from teh connector to the internal pieces was the problem but they really are so delicate that they had a very hard time repairing them.

IIRC, that is right. One of our members did a careful set of tests and the conclusion was that the '98 ABS module did not cause the speedo to drop out above 120. For what it is worth, when you are above 120, you really should not be looking down at the dash board much anyway, so I have never found it to be a problem worth working on for a fix.

I learned something new today. Thought it was a 98 specific problem with the ABS module. Thanks!
